ABOUT MANNY

Manny Tijerina is a 21-year-old actor, singer, dancer, and instrumentalist from Houston, TX. He is a senior at the University of Oklahoma's Weitzenhoffer School of Musical Theatre, pursuing a BFA in Musical Theatre. Manny is available for local hire in Norman, OK, Las Vegas, NV, and good ol' Houston, TX!

When not onstage, Manny enjoys any excuse to dress up, a night at the movies, or a good, long call with his family. He is an enjoyer of music of all kinds, a talented songwriter, and has recently had his music featured in the original song cycle, Elevator Music.

His favorite credits include Frankie Valli in Jersey Boys at the Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma, Rooster in Annie at the American Gothic Arts Festival, Chip Tolentino in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and Giuseppe Zangara in Assassins at The University of Oklahoma.

JERSEY BOYS… IN REVIEW!

The University of Oklahoma junior took on the lead role with remarkable aplomb, boasting a voice, look, and presence.
— Brandy McDonnell, The Oklahoman
I have seldom seen a young actor assume such a complex role with such confidence [...] Peerless, clear, and spot-on.
— Jonathan Beck Reed
I believe (Manny Tijerina) will be THE Frankie Valli that others will be compared against in time[...] BY FAR the best.
— Audience Member
Manny Tijerina blows the roof off the Civic Center with every song [...] He feels born to play this role.
